Um hi, I'm sorry... but have we talked about how magical it is that two of the most iconic tv characters of my generation got married IN REAL LIFE!? That's right kids, Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen (Leighton Meester and Adam Brody respectively) tied the knot in February of this year (the year of true love 2014) for those of you who didn't know.
I am amazed the universe didn't explode with the joy (and sorrow) of all 20 something aged women (and gay men) across America when they found out about this happy union. Seriously, have two more influential people joined in holy matrimony?! (ok... Beyoncé and Jay Z... Justin and Jessica... you know what... let's limit that statement to this year...).
What I want (need) to know is- Was Captan Oats the ring bearer? Were the Waldorfs and the Cohens present for the nuptials? Did she carry pink peonies? and is Sandy the best father in-law of all time? (I mean duh, that last one is a no brainer)
While I may be writing this in jest... part of me really does care. For better of for worse, I will cherish these two for all they are worth.
Leighton, Adam, I wish you all the love in the world and all the best for your happily ever after.
