It is hard to believe that this is the second Thanksgiving Drew and I will be spending in Los Angeles.
LA is full of people like us; people who have moved, people who don’t have family to spend the holiday with. And so, today, we are opening our home to friends; having an orphans Thanksgiving, celebrating by being together.
My heart is full in knowing just how much ground we have covered in the last year. The fact that we have people to celebrate with, the fact that we still love it here, the fact that this has been the best/worst year and we are still surviving, is enough to bring make me burst with thankfulness.
My dear reader, I am also thankful for you. You have kept me sane, listened to my ramblings, and touched my life in unexpected ways…thank you.
I hope your day is filled with love, friendship, family, and copious amounts of food.
