VEGAN VENTURES

During our extensive trip home, for both work and play, I was lucky enough to find myself living under the same roof as an incredibly talented vegan cook.

Kate Veltkamp is a lovely person, inside and out (mother of two and a part time model anyone?!) and she can cook a carnivore into submission, impressive no? (but really though, it’s not fair…)

While spending time in our host home, I had the pleasure of cooking along side Kate and sampling many of her divine dishes. The way she thought about ingredients harmonizing to create one dish was inspiring to say the leaste, not to mention tasty!

Given the fact that travel seems to have left me without time to create and feature a fresh recipe (don’t you worry, there are many in the works), Kate was so kind as to allow me to share some of her amazing vegan creations. As scary as it may seem, and as much as you may love meat (and all other various forms of animal goods [we are in the same boat don't worry]), I promise you will love these treats.

And last, but certainly not leaste, the capstone- dessert! Though a bit out of season for this post (just save it for later), these German Raisin Filled Cookies sound incredible.

For more about Kate, and the amazing things she creates, check out her blog, Vegan Belle, and stop by her twitter, and instagram; you won’t be sorry.

xx
