Ok, maybe I'm just old school but, personally, I like shopping... in a store... with real merchandise. Even this time of year when stores are flooded with nut jobs climbing over each other to obtain that "perfect gift", there is something about shopping in real life that gets me every time.
I get it, online shopping is the way of the future (er... present). You can put on your favorite tv show, pour a glass of wine, and go to town! What could be better? But as much as I try, every time the mouse hovers over the purchase button I can't press it. I mean, sure, amazon is my life line, books, obscure office products, random gifts and home goods... done! Boom! No problem. However, clothes and shoes are things to be tried on and felt (semi-sacred).
I won't lie, I get sucked in to browsing on the internet (I literally went on a two hour spiral trying to find Drews Christmas present the other day). Page after page, beautiful fashions flood the screen, making me dream of all of the things I wish to fill my closet with. I envy those who haven't the slightest hesitation ordering their favorite fashions online. I suppose browsing gives way to inspiration; for today I will remain, stuck in the stores with all the other people who can't convert to the way of the future (er. present).
